Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy backend functionality in a Django-based monolith, covering core document operations such as viewing, editing, embedding, and exporting, while also contributing to new initiatives that extend platform capabilities
- Enhance system performance and stability by refining database queries, API endpoints, and caching mechanisms in high-impact user workflows
- Work closely with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver scalable and dependable product experiences
- Engage in technical planning and decision-making, aligning immediate project goals with long-term system architecture improvements
- Maintain high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing, and a focus on system observability and efficiency
