About the Role
This senior role combines data engineering, architecture, and client collaboration to translate requirements into practical solutions, assess trade-offs, and define a roadmap, with potential transition to full-time implementation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the existing Microsoft Fabric and Azure data infrastructure
- Establish a clear target data architecture and outline a step-by-step implementation plan
- Build medallion-layered, metadata-driven ETL and ELT workflows
- Analyze Microsoft Fabric's capacity, performance efficiency, and cost structure
- Connect and unify data from ERP, manufacturing, and quality assurance systems
- Develop semantic models in Power BI and define data governance policies
- Work closely with business and technical teams during requirements gathering
- Execute implementation tasks directly, following client sign-off
Work Arrangement
Remote (Worldwide) — Germany, Norway, UK, USA, Canada, Peru, Asia
Expected Involvement
The engagement will initially start with a part-time discovery phase of approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time implementation role following the discovery phase and client approval.
