IOTA GROUP is hiring a Senior AWS Platform Engineer – Account Migration

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full assessment of existing AWS resources, services, interdependencies, and spending patterns
  • Evaluate how moving into a federated AWS organization will affect system design, operational performance, and financial costs
  • Review the effects of migration on identity and access management configurations, including roles, policies, service control policies, and permission structures
  • Determine potential obstacles and limitations tied to the migration, such as service quotas, compatibility issues, and technical constraints
  • Create and document the intended AWS architecture within the client's Organizations setup
  • Formulate a migration approach—either all-at-once or phased—with accompanying risk evaluation
  • Build and carry out test procedures to verify IAM setups, network configurations, security group rules, and related components
  • Execute trial migrations on sample accounts and record outcomes and insights
  • Set up monitoring and alerting systems to identify irregularities after migration
  • Confirm compatibility with the client’s existing governance, compliance, and cost tracking tools
  • Produce comprehensive procedural guides for both migration and rollback processes
