Responsibilities
- Create and deploy a complete autonomy software stack, including mission planning, path planning, object detection, obstacle avoidance, and real-time decision-making for underwater environments.
- Build and optimize both machine learning and traditional computer vision pipelines for low-power embedded hardware, specifically the Nvidia Jetson Orin AGX platform.
- Achieve fully autonomous multi-day missions using vehicle prototypes within the first three months on the job.
- Participate in field testing activities, including pool deployments, ocean trials, and real-time telemetry analysis from shore-based operations.
- Lead systems from concept to deployment, owning end-to-end development across requirements, architecture, simulation, validation, and production release.
