Responsibilities
- Create and sustain modular, scalable, and maintainable Java-based test applications.
- Develop automated test suites for unit, integration, and API testing using Java tools including JUnit, Mockito, Rest Assured, and Cucumber.
- Apply Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development methodologies in test design and implementation.
- Construct reusable testing frameworks and utilities to enhance testing efficiency across components.
- Perform development tasks alongside test automation responsibilities, similar to a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and OpenShift.
- Collaborate in code reviews to ensure high standards in both development and testing practices.
- Identify defects, analyze root causes, and assist in resolving issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
