Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
- Gain a thorough understanding of client business operations, processes, and financial reporting systems.
- Assess internal control effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support.
- Work with clients to address business challenges and support their goals.
- Keep current with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of external auditing experience
- Proficient in IFRS standards
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
- Skilled in audit software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead and manage an audit team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Experience managing multiple audits simultaneously
- Ability to have fun
Nice to Have
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred
