Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and operational performance of distressed businesses
- Assist in developing restructuring strategies to improve financial viability
- Support the execution of debt restructuring and refinancing initiatives
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity assessments
- Collaborate with legal and financial advisors during insolvency proceedings
- Engage with creditors and other stakeholders during restructuring processes
- Identify cost reduction and operational efficiency opportunities
- Conduct due diligence for potential asset sales or business divestitures
- Prepare financial models to evaluate restructuring scenarios
- Document restructuring plans and related implementation timelines
- Monitor compliance with financial covenants and reporting requirements
- Assist in the preparation of creditor presentations and reports
- Evaluate going concern assumptions and viability assessments
- Support the development of turnaround strategies for underperforming units
- Participate in cross-border restructuring engagements
- Coordinate with internal audit and advisory teams on client matters
- Maintain accurate records of restructuring activities and decisions
- Provide input on financial reporting implications of restructuring actions
- Assist in the assessment of debtor-in-possession financing options
- Contribute to post-restructuring integration and monitoring
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting and insolvency standards
- Work on special projects related to financial recovery
- Deliver client updates and progress reports
- Identify early warning signs of financial distress
- Support forensic accounting efforts when required
