Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, planning, and executing communication strategies for the Ministry, following national communication policies.
- Help produce and review written, visual, and digital content to ensure alignment with official messaging, branding, and style requirements.
- Develop compelling stories, opinion pieces, and advocacy content that highlight the Ministry’s strategic goals.
- Foster and manage relationships with donors, government bodies, media outlets, and partner organizations to enhance the Ministry’s public presence.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the Ministry of Health and external partners, ensuring clear, timely exchanges on critical health policies.
- Organize and facilitate technical meetings, high-level briefings, and collaborative events involving the Ministry and its stakeholders.
- Track media coverage on health topics and deliver regular updates and strategic insights to senior Ministry officials.

- The selected individual will be assigned to the Ministry of Health.
- The position will report to the Health Systems Strengthening Associate Director within the organization.
- Close collaboration is expected with country and global teams across the organization.
- Fluency in both English and French, spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Kinyarwanda is beneficial but not required.
