Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and deploying AI pilot initiatives in partner countries by collaborating with government agencies, in-country teams, and technology providers to ensure effective implementation and scalability.
- Lead internal initiatives to integrate AI into program workflows, identifying high-impact opportunities, strengthening team capabilities, and building tools that improve outcomes.
- Help shape global strategies for AI market development and public goods that promote safe, ethical AI deployment in low-resource health systems.
- Establish user needs and technical specifications for AI-powered applications, bridging communication between technical developers and non-technical stakeholders to align solutions with practical demands.
- Oversee technology projects from initial concept to launch, coordinating efforts among engineers, designers, program staff, and public-sector partners.
- Quickly build and evaluate AI prototypes using low-code or no-code platforms to demonstrate utility and refine based on user input.
- Produce clear, persuasive materials such as presentations and briefing documents to update leadership, donors, and government stakeholders on AI strategy and progress.
- Track advancements in AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies relevant to global health to inform strategic decisions.
- Contribute to funding initiatives by supporting proposal writing and donor reporting activities.
- Travel internationally 20-40% of the time, including longer stays during key project phases.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management or the Associate Director.

- Position can be levelled at a Senior Associate or Manager depending on level of experience
