About the Role
The role involves leading architectural design and implementation for OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management, and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security in large-scale environments. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of OpenShift Container Platform clusters
- Implement centralized management for multi-cluster environments using RHACM
- Integrate RHACS for comprehensive security posture across clusters
- Develop automation strategies for cluster lifecycle operations
- Ensure compliance with security benchmarks and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on platform integration
- Optimize cluster performance, scalability, and availability
- Define monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks
- Support incident response and root cause analysis for critical outages
- Mentor engineers on containerization and Kubernetes best practices
- Evaluate new features in Red Hat ecosystem tools for adoption
- Document architecture decisions and operational runbooks
- Drive standardization across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments
- Troubleshoot networking, storage, and authentication issues
- Participate in architecture review boards and technical governance
- Ensure secure configuration of cluster components and services
- Design identity and access management strategies for Kubernetes
- Implement policy-driven cluster configuration and enforcement
- Support disaster recovery and high availability planning
- Coordinate with security teams to address vulnerabilities
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies
- Promote infrastructure-as-code practices across teams
- Assess risks associated with platform upgrades and migrations
- Provide technical leadership during major system changes
- Ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy and roadmaps
