Responsibilities
- Lead architectural planning and design for data centres, managing BIM models and technical drawings to meet project specifications and ensure precision
- Coordinate design efforts within the architecture team and with adjacent disciplines to enable cohesive project execution
- Collaborate with engineering and multidisciplinary groups to resolve technical discrepancies and enhance design performance
- Oversee design implementation to confirm alignment with project briefs, coordination needs, and quality benchmarks across all stages
- Supervise and mentor team members, supporting skill growth and maintaining high standards of work
- Engage clients and stakeholders through consistent communication, updates, and alignment on project expectations
- Provide leadership and coaching to promote architectural quality and professional advancement within the team
- Apply value engineering principles to identify cost savings while preserving design quality and functionality
- Evaluate sustainability and energy efficiency measures, integrating best practices for environmental performance and operational reliability
- Conduct compliance checks to ensure designs adhere to building regulations, industry standards, and data centre-specific guidelines
- Identify potential risks in design and construction, then develop and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage project budgets and assign resources effectively, tracking spending and optimizing efficiency throughout delivery
