Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve escalated production incidents while meeting defined service level agreements.
- Conduct root cause investigations to prevent recurrence of system issues.
- Improve and refine current monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Nagios, Grafana, and NewRelic.
- Work closely with Development, DevOps, and QA teams to enhance overall system resilience.
- Recreate reported issues in testing environments and verify corrective solutions prior to release.
- Manage end-to-end problem resolution processes to ensure ongoing service quality improvements.
- Offer technical guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of four years of professional experience in Application Support, System Administration, Software Quality Assurance, or DevOps roles.
- Solid expertise in Linux system administration, with familiarity in Windows systems considered beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in MySQL, along with working knowledge of Oracle or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms such as Nagios, Grafana, or NewRelic.
- Skilled in writing automation and diagnostic scripts using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Fluent communication abilities in both Greek and English.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and share knowledge within a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience administering Windows-based systems.
Compensation
In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the salary range indicated reflects the expected compensation band for the role. The final offer shall be determined following a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and overall contribution to the role, and may, where appropriately justified, be positioned outside the stated range, in alignment with internal pay equity, market conditions, according to the Company’s payroll procedures and applicable legal requirements.
