Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert for advanced support of data applications and platforms
- Maintain reliable operation, consistency, and efficiency of data workflows and ETL systems
- Support and manage both batch processing and real-time data streaming infrastructures
- Operate, supervise, and resolve issues in Apache Kafka-based environments
- Conduct proactive system monitoring, detect incidents, and perform root cause investigations
- Lead in-depth troubleshooting for data processing, pipeline failures, and distributed system errors
- Work closely with development teams to address live issues and enhance system architecture
- Assist in release execution, deployment procedures, and change control activities
- Identify and deploy enhancements in system observability, fault tolerance, and automated operations
- Keep up-to-date technical documentation and enforce operational standards
- Offer technical guidance and support to less experienced team members as required
