Responsibilities
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of a widely used Android application serving users in nearly every country.
- Design and release impactful features including in-app calling, automated balance replenishment, payment optimizations, login processes, and call diagnostics.
- Guarantee stable app performance on budget devices and in areas with poor network connectivity, a critical requirement for our audience.
- Leverage AI tools to boost coding efficiency and software quality, supporting our commitment to an AI-integrated engineering approach.
- Diagnose and fix issues using real user feedback and call performance metrics.
- Use insights from user research and app store reviews to guide product development priorities and design choices.
- Participate in sprint planning, system architecture conversations, and key technical decisions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, particularly in sharing business logic across platforms
- Strong skills in Jetpack Compose, with working knowledge of XML-based UI design
- Familiarity with Android Studio as a primary development environment
- Proficient in Git for version control
- Active integration of AI tools in coding and quality assurance workflows
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Swift or iOS development, valuable in a small, cross-functional team
- Background in VoIP or telephony systems
- Experience with analytics and monitoring tools such as Mixpanel or Zabbix
Compensation
Senior Android salary: €80,000 – €85,000 gross per year (all-in)
