Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a competitive landscape domain, including identifying signals, tracking competitors, and developing a perspective on business impact.
- Create monthly executive summaries that highlight market trends, competitor developments, and emerging opportunities or risks.
- Address high-priority inquiries from the CEO, which may fall within your domain or be entirely new topics.
- Collaborate with fellow analysts to connect insights across different areas and inform the roadmaps of operational teams.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, equity research, industry analysis, or a research-focused role at a technology company.
- Bachelor's degree, ideally with a quantitative emphasis.
- Ability to synthesize and cross-reference multiple sources into a concise key insight and compelling visuals that are easily understood by busy executives.
- Thrive in ambiguous situations, independently developing methodologies to address questions without clear answers or data sources.
- Strong data and analytical skills, comfortable extracting insights from both quantitative and qualitative information.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt as team priorities evolve.
- Self-sufficient in a remote work environment, proactively communicating obstacles and delivering results without needing reminders.
- Collaborative and cross-functional, building strong peer relationships and confidently engaging in executive-level discussions.
