EX Squared is hiring a Senior AI/ML Research Engineer to drive the development of novel machine learning solutions. You will join a team dedicated to solving complex problems through innovative research and robust engineering.
What You'll Do
- Design, prototype, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms
- Conduct research to solve open-ended problems and translate findings into production-ready systems
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects from concept to deployment
- Analyze and interpret model performance to guide iterative improvements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML research and engineering
- Strong publication record or demonstrable equivalent contributions in the field
- Expert-level programming skills in Python and deep familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Proven ability to design and implement novel algorithms
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale distributed training
- Background in a specialized sub-field such as NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning
- Experience contributing to open-source ML projects

This position is fully remote, open to candidates located anywhere within Sweden.
