Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to build and maintain Fixify’s automation capabilities.
- Get hands-on, real world experience with bleeding edge tools and techniques, unlocking novel new solutions to historically difficult problems.
- Work hand-in-hand with data scientists to contribute to Fixify’s AI architecture, helping harness LLMs while ensuring solutions are safe, reliable, and scalable.
- Be encouraged to be creative and bring your own unique perspective and experiences to bear.
- Build relationships across the business, learning from different functions and perspectives.
- Stay connected directly to customers and the problems Fixify aims to solve for them, allowing you to ship solutions that make a real difference.
Requirements
- A track record of building and maintaining services in Python and Typescript.
- Hands-on experience building with AI frameworks (Pydantic AI, Langchain).
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable and observable SaaS solutions with one of the big three cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- A practice of 'kind engineering' that produces well documented, modular code that’s a delight for the next engineer that works on it.
- A keen eye for detail – especially when reviewing pull requests.
- A genuine interest in understanding user needs and translating them into technical solutions.
- The ability to work cross-functionally and lift the team with your positive energy.
- A curious nature and a drive to keep improving.
