Drata is hiring a Senior AI Product Engineer, Frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end AI-powered features using React/TypeScript for frontend and Node.js/Python for backend, incorporating real-time streaming, fallback mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Transform AI functionalities such as retrieval-augmented generation, agent-based processes, and structured decision-making into intuitive experiences for compliance users
  • Collaborate with AI engineering teams to define API interfaces and output formats, ensuring seamless integration of advanced AI systems into usable product interactions
  • Champion user needs in technical discussions, identifying limitations in model performance and refining product behavior through iterative improvements
  • Design and implement feedback mechanisms that collect user input on AI outputs and convert insights into actionable improvements for AI teams
  • Integrate comprehensive product analytics for AI features, tracking metrics like response time, user engagement, task success, and drop-off rates, supported by full-stack testing
  • Create reusable components and architectural patterns—such as streaming utilities, feedback modules, and AI state handling—to accelerate future AI feature delivery
  • Guide junior engineers in AI product development; contribute to design reviews with both technical expertise and product-focused insight
