About the Role
The Senior Accounting Manager will supervise the accounting function, manage month-end close processes, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing cycles
- Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Review journal entries and general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors
- Develop and improve accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of budget and forecast data
- Maintain fixed asset accounting records
- Supervise intercompany transaction reconciliations
- Ensure timely tax filings and support tax compliance
- Implement and monitor internal controls
- Drive process automation and system improvements
- Coordinate with global finance teams
- Prepare detailed financial analyses for leadership
- Support SOX compliance initiatives
- Manage cash flow reporting and analysis
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition practices
- Lead special projects related to financial systems or integrations
