Responsibilities

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Prepare journal entries and month-end close procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments for financial reporting needs
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
- Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Handle tax filings and coordinate with external tax professionals
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports
- Support process improvements in accounting systems and workflows
- Administer payroll-related accounting tasks
- Evaluate financial risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Maintain documentation for financial policies and procedures
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Utilize accounting software for data management and reporting
- Coordinate intercompany transactions when applicable
- Ensure adherence to internal audit standards
- Prepare variance analyses for operational performance
