Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, cloud management platform, support, and services to address client needs effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and ownership of assigned customers, communicating with vendor teams to highlight value and revenue opportunities.
- Handle customer support escalations to resolution, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate and secure long-term agreements with key stakeholders, balancing customer, vendor, and company interests.
- Identify new workload opportunities within customers' cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
- Establish regular communication with all customers, balancing the needs of large strategic clients and fast-growing emerging ones.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to ensure products and solutions meet customer needs and requests.
- Provide customer feedback to engineering teams to enhance market/customer context and prioritize development deliverables.
- Conduct regular quarterly reviews with customers, tracking project timelines, spending, and feedback on support and engagement.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with key cloud providers to align on customer engagements.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities within the customer cloud environment.
- Collaborate with cloud vendor sales representatives on mutual customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, focusing on the EMEA market.
- 3+ years of experience at a technology company, such as SaaS, SI, or a cloud vendor.
- Experience supporting customers in the AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure ecosystem, or another cloud vendor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with additional languages being a plus.
- Strong technical skills to engage effectively with technical teams and build influential relationships.
- Excellent operational and administrative skills, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to switch between big-picture and detailed views.
- A desire to grow within the organization and continuously expand skill sets.
- A good sense of humor and enjoyment of a fun work environment.
