Responsibilities
- Meet clinic and territory revenue objectives.
- Create and implement sales and business growth strategies for designated clinics.
- Track referral patterns and territory performance, and address any decreases in business volume.
- Hold quarterly business reviews with clinic leadership and stakeholders.
- Retain and strengthen relationships with current referral sources.
- Develop new referral sources through sales visits, educational sessions, cold calls, and networking.
- Meet weekly activity targets, including recording sales calls and educational sessions in Salesforce.
- Build a robust pipeline of potential referral partners.
- Foster collaborative relationships with clinicians, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and allied health professionals.
- Deliver ongoing customer service and resolve issues from referral sources.
- Connect referral partners with Hanger programs, continuing education opportunities, and community events.
- Form strategic alliances with hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
- Support and lead responses to RFPs, proposals, presentations, and contracting efforts.
- Coordinate contract negotiations and institutional fee increases according to company policies.
- Develop implementation plans and monitor contract performance metrics.
- Complete required facility and vendor credentialing.
- Identify and assess trade show and conference opportunities.
- Analyze return on investment for business development activities and events.
- Execute regional growth initiatives and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably in healthcare, or 1 year as a Business Development Associate.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

- Prior experience calling on hospitals, IDNs, clinics, and physician groups.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, Group Purchasing Organizations, and payor dynamics.

Compensation
$90,000 - $135,000 annually plus commission plan and auto allowance
