Scopely is looking for a Senior 3D Artist to join the Monopoly GO! team on a remote basis in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets that define the visual charm of a key mobile game franchise.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with artists and narrative designers to explore and refine gameplay and visual direction.
- Work with the Art Director, Lead Artist, and Concept Team to create 3D assets that capture the charm and style of established art pillars.
- Produce high-quality models, textures, and materials aligning with a stylized, playful aesthetic.
- Support the creative vision of each season through consistent quality and attention to detail.
- Implement and optimize 3D assets in Unity, ensuring proper performance and visual fidelity.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to maintain high artistic and technical standards.
- Collaborate with other departments (Design, Engineering, Animation) to ensure seamless integration of assets.
- Contribute to the improvement of workflows, tools, and documentation within the 3D pipeline.
- Stay up to date on new tools, technologies, and AI-based creative methods to enhance production efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in game development.
- Strong modeling, texturing, and shading skills, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality, stylized or whimsical art style.
- Proficiency in major 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc.).
- Experience with 2D and 3D texturing tools (Photoshop, Substance Painter, 3DCoat).
- Solid understanding of Unity pipelines for importing and optimizing 3D assets.
- Familiarity with technical constraints and performance optimization on mobile platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Positive attitude and openness to feedback.
Nice to Have
- Experience in casual or stylized mobile games.
- Knowledge of game art production pipelines and asset management.
- Unity Shader Graph knowledge.
- General understanding of Unity’s render pipeline.
- Familiarity with AI tools for ideation or texturing.
- A genuine passion for creating and playing games.

Team & Environment
You will be part of the Monopoly GO! team, which is one of Scopely’s largest projects. The global team has most members located across Spain and the US, and you will report to the Art Director and Lead Artist.

- Compensation: $123,600—$187,000 USD (for candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA) + may be eligible for equity.
