Responsibilities
- Create foundational security components and services that safeguard cloud infrastructure spanning compute, networking, and identity layers across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop hardened infrastructure by default using Linux security modules such as AppArmor, SELinux, seccomp, and cgroups, along with Kubernetes and eBPF for runtime policy enforcement and system behavior monitoring.
- Build APIs, automated workflows, and tooling to manage cloud security posture, vulnerability tracking, and workload identity at scale, including telemetry pipelines for monitoring, logging, and alerting integrated with Grafana, Splunk, and Victoria Metrics.
- Embed security into continuous integration and deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, ensuring security policies are version-controlled, reviewed, and deployed like application code.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, from initial problem identification and design documentation through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Partner with site reliability, platform, and product engineering teams to establish secure architectural patterns for emerging infrastructure and services.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid — available in New York City, Austin, Seattle, or San Francisco; remote work permitted on East Coast business hours.
