NTT DATA is looking for a Principal Security Managed Services Engineer to create and maintain critical security infrastructure for our clients. In this pivotal role, you will design and manage sophisticated security solutions, providing expert guidance and technical support.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to lead the design and architecture of managed security solutions tailored to unique requirements.
- Oversee the configuration and deployment of security solutions, ensuring they adhere to industry standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to optimize the performance of clients' security infrastructures.
- Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving highly complex security incidents.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and create automation scripts to streamline operations.
- Drive continuous innovation and implement disaster recovery functions.
- Manage projects and provide support to enhance clients' overall security posture.
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to your team of engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
- Work with client business teams to understand their problems and provide relevant security solutions.
What We're Looking For
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies and managed services concepts.
- Proficiency in security monitoring and management tools for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Scripting proficiency in languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Extensive experience handling complex security infrastructure in a managed services environment.
- Experience working on multiple large global enterprise client outsourcing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex security issues and choose optimal solutions.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Project management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing, or demonstrated work experience.
