Responsibilities
- Enhance security across products, data, and infrastructure through secure coding, code reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability fixes, and hardening of cloud and network systems
- Create automated security controls integrated into CI/CD pipelines, including static analysis, software composition analysis, and secrets detection
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure application architectures, APIs, data pathways, and integrations
- Protect hybrid environments with virtual machines, containers, and cloud-native services while maintaining uniform security standards
- Proactively identify risks using continuous scanning, threat modeling, risk assessments, and architectural reviews
- Support engineering teams in adopting secure-by-design principles through advisory, internal tools, and security training
- Participate in on-call duties, investigate security incidents, and refine incident response procedures
- Lead initiatives to improve security through automation, tooling enhancements, process optimization, and promoting security accountability
