Responsibilities
- Support the growth and technical development of cybersecurity operations personnel
- Help integrate applications into centralized security management platforms
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks
- Take ownership of recurring access and inactivity review processes
- Build deep expertise in user-level security for enterprise systems and applications
- Advise project teams and internal stakeholders on industry-standard security practices
- Conduct security assessments of applications and platforms using core security tools
- Respond to and resolve security incidents and system problems
- Design and refine operational security processes
- Evaluate security access configurations in critical applications and systems
- Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with one year of technical experience substituting for each year of required education
- Minimum of five years in a Cyber Security Operations Analyst role or similar capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude
- In-depth understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) systems
- In-depth understanding of compliance standards including MAR, SOC1, SOC2, and PCI
- In-depth understanding of established security methodologies
- In-depth understanding of core security technologies
- In-depth understanding of information security principles and industry best practices
- In-depth understanding of applications, systems, and databases
- In-depth understanding of application access control systems and best practices
- In-depth understanding of access certification processes
- In-depth understanding of attribute-based access control (ABAC) authorization services
- In-depth understanding of LDAP protocol, operations, and administration
- In-depth understanding of MS SQL databases, SQL, and JDBC protocol
- In-depth understanding of Windows, Linux, AIX, and Mainframe operating systems
- Familiarity with identity management systems and best practices
- Familiarity with network and endpoint security principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to build cooperation, trust, and credibility across teams
- Proven ability to lead projects and create detailed run-book documentation, including procedures and job aids
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CISM, or comparable professional certification preferred
- Familiarity with identity attributes and process architecture or design preferred

- Contract duration through end of 2016 with potential for extension
