Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with architects, engineers, and interior designers on project development
- Create integrated security systems for diverse clients using technologies such as video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, voice communication, and collaborative platforms for security operations centers
- Design security systems aligned with specific client needs and operational requirements
- Oversee all stages of complex security system design from concept through implementation
- Design comprehensive access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems for indoor and outdoor protection
- Incorporate risk assessments and threat modeling into multi-layered security strategies covering perimeter, building, floor, room, and secure enclosure levels
- Establish security zones, access rules, and operational procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel
- Generate 3D models and coverage maps to illustrate CCTV camera placements and visibility
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Produce detailed drawings, technical specifications, and itemized bills of quantities
- Coordinate design efforts with architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, ICT, and facility operations teams
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security systems with building automation, energy management, power systems, audiovisual technology, and other IP-based infrastructure
- Collect and analyze engineering data following established procedures and documentation standards
- Execute detailed or routine design tasks and consulting work under guidance
- Deliver assignments according to defined timelines and budget parameters with supervisory oversight
