GuidePoint Security is hiring a Security Consultant (Identity & SecOps) - Mid-Atlantic region (Remote in NC, VA, MD, DC, DE, PA, or NJ)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD configurations
• Deploy and strengthen core security settings in M365 and Azure platforms
• Support identity governance, multi-factor authentication, Conditional Access policies, Privileged Identity Management, role-based access controls, and passwordless authentication programs
• Help clients implement FIDO2 security keys and strengthen identity protections
• Conduct technical security architecture evaluations and reviews
• Create practical remediation plans and implementation timelines
• Contribute to identity threat detection and response, SIEM, SOC, and Zero Trust initiatives
• Engage directly in client environments to verify and apply security improvements
• Produce clear, professional technical reports and project deliverables
• Act as a trusted advisor to client security and IT leadership
