Ag-Land FS, Inc., part of the GROWMARK System, is hiring Seasonal Agronomy Operations employees for our upcoming busy season. This role offers a hands-on opportunity for individuals with agricultural experience to support our core agronomy operations, assisting with daily tasks from the facility to the field.
What You'll Do
- Maintain daily operations at a retail supply location.
- Follow a maintenance schedule for facility and equipment.
- Manage inventory and distribution of products.
- Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested.
- Operate the anhydrous ammonia riser to fill tanks.
- Stock and move warehouse product and materials.
- Assist both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
- Maintain the image of the facility and equipment.
- Help improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide excellent customer service directly.
- Work with the location manager on all safety and compliance issues.
- Drive and run local errands as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of retail-related work experience demonstrating knowledge of basic business principles like inventory management.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory record.
- The ability to frequently lift 51-70 lbs as needed.
- The ability to work frequently in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet).
- Willingness to work in conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
- Flexibility to work hours outside the normal schedule to meet seasonal demands.
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training on FS policies, procedures, and role-specific requirements.
- Must complete certified competent attendant training for anhydrous ammonia handling before working with it.
