We’re looking for an accomplished SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team, ensuring that backend API components meet customer needs. You’ll develop scalable test automation and collaborate across teams to ensure high quality from end to end.
What You'll Do
- Follow agile methodologies and participate in scrum meetings and software quality audits throughout the SDLC.
- Design and test large modules or entire feature areas, performing business requirement analysis.
- Develop scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, and BDD frameworks.
- Execute integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Research new or improved automated testing tools.
- Use TestRail or equivalent to maintain test suites, manage automation results, and analyze failures.
- Work independently and collaborate across teams to drive quality initiatives and lead detailed quality discussions.
- Design end-to-end test scenarios with limited information and mentor other quality engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant SDET experience.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Experience integrating testing artifacts with a CI/CD pipeline.
- P&C Insurance domain knowledge.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Linux, databases/SQL/PostgreSQL, and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of GoLang.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to articulate technical topics.
- A desire to automate everything and reduce manual testing time.
