TetraScience is looking for a Scientific Data Architect to join our team in Darmstadt or Düsseldorf, Germany. This role focuses on designing and industrializing AI-native scientific data sets for the life science industry, bridging complex scientific data with actionable outcomes through deep collaboration with scientists, product managers, and engineers.
What You'll Do
- Define, design, prototype, and implement productized AI/ML-driven use cases in cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and scientific stakeholders
- Perform extensive exploratory data analysis and workflow optimization to enable scientific outcomes not previously possible
- Engage diverse audiences from scientists to executive stakeholders using excellent communication and storytelling abilities
- Advise scientists in a consulting capacity to further research, development, and quality testing outcomes
- Build extensible data models and applications for Biopharma end users to maximize value from their data via analysis and integration with AI/ML
- Transform complex scientific data into actionable outcomes
What We're Looking For
- PhD with +4 years or Masters with +8 years of industry experience in life sciences
- Extensive domain knowledge in drug discovery (target ID through lead optimization), preclinical development, CMC (all drug modalities), or product quality testing
- Proven track record of defining, designing, prototyping, and implementing productized AI/ML-driven use cases in cloud environments
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and scientific stakeholders
- Experience performing extensive exploratory data analysis and workflow optimization
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
- Experience advising scientists in a consulting capacity
- Rich experience applying cutting edge data methodologies to the biopharma R&D domain
- Product-minded, outcome-obsessed driver of technical scientific solutions
