Role Overview
Join a specialized SAP support team as an SAP VIM Consultant, delivering reliable system performance and continuous support for Vendor Invoice Management. This position focuses on maintaining operational integrity, resolving technical issues, and enhancing invoice processing workflows during mid-shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for day-to-day SAP VIM operations, ensuring seamless invoice processing
- Monitor workflow execution, manage exceptions, and support approval routing
- Diagnose and resolve system issues in collaboration with functional and technical teams
- Conduct root cause analysis and assist with defect resolution and small-scale enhancements
- Support system upgrades, patches, and rollout activities related to VIM
- Assist with critical financial closing periods, including month-end and year-end invoice processing
- Engage with business stakeholders to maintain efficient operations and clarify process queries
- Develop and maintain documentation for support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base entries
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements and operational standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of four years of direct experience in SAP VIM implementation and operational support
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong grasp of Accounts Payable processes, invoice lifecycle stages, and financial controls
- Proven experience configuring VIM workflows, exception rules, tolerance settings, and approval hierarchies
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with OCR technology, document scanning systems, and automated invoice processing tools
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on root-cause diagnosis across technical and functional layers
- Independent work ethic with effective communication and client engagement skills
