About the Role
The role involves leading and executing SAP EWM projects, focusing on process optimization, system configuration, and integration with backend systems to support efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions
- Analyze client warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement
- Design and configure EWM modules to meet business requirements
- Integrate SAP EWM with ERP, TM, and other logistics systems
- Develop and execute test plans for EWM functionality
- Provide expert guidance during system migration and data conversion
- Support integration with RF devices and warehouse automation
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams on solution design
- Document system configurations and process workflows
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during testing and go-live
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards
- Participate in blueprinting and requirements gathering sessions
- Assist in defining warehouse organizational structures in EWM
- Configure warehouse monitoring and exception handling tools
- Support decentralized EWM and slotting functionalities
- Work with ABAP teams on custom development needs
- Validate integration with SAP S/4HANA Logistics
- Lead workshops to gather functional requirements
- Prepare functional specifications for development teams
- Support client user acceptance testing
- Provide post-implementation support and stabilization
- Stay current with SAP EWM innovations and updates
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and tool development
- Ensure solutions align with supply chain best practices
