Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of key SAP SD and MM functions, including sales orders, deliveries, billing, returns, pricing, purchase requisitions, procurement, goods receipt, and inventory control.
- Configure SD and MM module components such as sales document types, item categories, billing types, copy controls, condition techniques, output determination, purchasing documents, release strategies, account determination, and inventory valuation methods.
- Ensure integration between SD/MM and financial modules (FI/CO) for automated accounting entries, tax calculations, and invoice processing.
- Support migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, focusing on business partner adjustments, condition contract handling, advanced ATP, and embedded analytics adoption.
- Evaluate and enhance integrated business workflows to improve efficiency and meet compliance standards.
- Develop custom ABAP programs, including BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and BADIs tailored to SD/MM processes.
- Automate core SD/MM transactions including sales order creation (VA01), delivery processing (VL01N), billing (VF01), purchase order entry (ME21N), and goods movements (MB1C, MIGO).
- Utilize IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and BDCs to enable smooth data exchange and automation of financial operations.
- Refactor and optimize ABAP code for performance, readability, and adherence to SAP development standards.
- Enforce compliance with SAP best practices and regulatory requirements across all technical implementations.
- Review ABAP code from data entry personnel involved in transaction processing, such as invoice posting, journal entries, clearing, and period-end closing.
- Provide technical feedback and corrections to ensure code aligns with SAP standards and accurately reflects business rules.
- Verify automated SD/MM processes against financial records and system setup to confirm accuracy and consistency.
- Guide junior developers and consultants in SAP best practices and efficient ABAP coding techniques.
- Lead migration initiatives from ECC to S/4HANA within the SD/MM domain, managing data conversion, configuration updates, and organizational change.
- Conduct system testing, regression checks, and user acceptance testing for SD/MM process modifications and new features.
- Support adoption of S/4HANA advancements such as enhanced shipping and receiving capabilities and built-in analytics.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Finance, and Controlling teams to ensure full integration across business functions.
- Identify and deploy automation solutions using RPA, SAP Fiori apps, and CDS views to streamline finance-related operations.
