What You'll Do
Lead the planning and execution of data migration initiatives across complex SAP landscapes, ensuring seamless transitions during system upgrades, mergers, and consolidations. Translate business requirements into robust data solutions by designing and managing ETL workflows using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
Perform in-depth analysis of legacy data structures to identify migration needs and resolve potential issues early. Continuously refine BODS jobs to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. Support integration efforts by providing functional insight into SAP Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Production Planning modules to guarantee data consistency.
Validate data integrity through structured testing and reconciliation processes. Champion data quality improvements that strengthen reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness. Work closely with technical and business teams to align data strategies with organizational goals, maintaining clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects
- Demonstrate proficiency with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and associated data migration tools
- Possess strong functional understanding of SAP SD, MM, and PP modules
- Show proven ability in data analysis, cleansing, transformation, and validation
- Exhibit solid analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and clear communication skills
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments
- Active SAP certification
- Prior experience managing or contributing to large-scale SAP projects
