About the Role
The individual will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and enhancing SAP landscapes hosted in cloud infrastructure, supporting business-critical applications through proactive maintenance and technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Administer SAP systems deployed on cloud platforms
- Perform system refreshes, copies, and client migrations
- Monitor system health and ensure optimal performance
- Implement and maintain transport management systems
- Apply security patches and conduct user access reviews
- Troubleshoot technical issues across application and operating layers
- Support system upgrades and version enhancements
- Configure and manage SAP high availability solutions
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on cloud resource planning
- Document system configurations and operational procedures
- Manage backup and recovery strategies for SAP environments
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Lead root cause analysis for critical system incidents
- Coordinate with developers and functional teams during implementations
- Optimize database and application server settings
- Deploy automation tools for routine administrative tasks
- Support integration between SAP and non-SAP systems
- Maintain system monitoring tools and alerting frameworks
- Assist in disaster recovery testing and planning
- Provide technical guidance during cloud migration projects
- Enforce change control processes for production systems
- Configure load balancing and system sizing parameters
- Support S/4HANA and legacy SAP system landscapes
- Work with vendors and cloud providers on technical escalations
- Ensure system uptime meets service level agreements
