Responsibilities
- Design and code SAP ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces
- Develop custom solutions using SAP ABAP tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand functional needs
- Support end-to-end implementation of SAP modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in production environments
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing phases
- Maintain documentation for developed programs and enhancements
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and efficiency
- Implement enhancements and modifications to SAP systems
- Work with cross-functional teams during system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards
- Assist in data migration and conversion activities
- Develop and maintain SAP Smart Forms and SAP Scripts
- Integrate SAP systems with external applications
- Support user training and system go-live activities
- Conduct peer reviews of ABAP code
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Participate in agile development cycles
- Stay current with SAP technology updates and tools
