About the Role
The developer will contribute to the full lifecycle of SAP applications, focusing on coding, testing, and deployment while ensuring alignment with business requirements and system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom code using ABAP for SAP systems
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business needs
- Support end-to-end implementation of SAP modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in production environments
- Participate in requirement analysis and technical specification sessions
- Design and implement reports, interfaces, and enhancements
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing
- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Assist in system upgrades and migrations
- Document technical designs and development work
- Optimize performance of existing ABAP programs
- Integrate SAP with external systems using standard protocols
- Work within agile project teams
- Provide post-implementation support as needed
- Follow change management procedures for deployments
Nice to Have
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects
- Exposure to SAP Fiori or OData services
- Background in logistics or manufacturing modules
- Certification in SAP ABAP
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for SAP
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform
