Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect machinery, tools, and workspaces following USDA, food safety, and internal sanitation protocols
- Safely mix and apply cleaning agents while adhering to personal protective equipment and safety guidelines
- Examine equipment and zones post-cleaning to verify cleanliness and immediately report any concerns or risks
- Keep workspaces orderly and safe by clearing waste, washing surfaces, and properly storing cleaning supplies and tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and foster a safety-oriented workplace
- Adhere to detailed sanitation checklists, standard operating procedures, and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity policies
- Carry out additional cleaning tasks as necessary to prepare for production and support operational targets
- Perform other assigned duties as needed

- Employment eligibility verification must be completed by the end of the third workday
- Work schedule includes Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts or overtime
- Second shift assignment with a $1.00 per hour shift differential
- Work is performed in refrigerated conditions ranging from 10°F to 40°F
- Position requires prolonged standing
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds is necessary
