Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect production machinery, tools, and workspaces in compliance with USDA, food safety, and internal sanitation protocols.
- Prepare and apply cleaning agents safely, using proper personal protective equipment and adhering to chemical handling guidelines.
- Inspect sanitized areas and equipment to verify cleanliness, identifying and reporting any deficiencies or safety concerns immediately.
- Keep work zones safe and orderly by clearing waste, rinsing surfaces, and storing tools and chemicals correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and foster a workplace centered on safety and accountability.
- Follow written sanitation protocols, standard operating procedures, and all applicable safety, food safety, and biosecurity policies.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as necessary to prepare for production and support operational efficiency.
- Complete any other assigned duties related to facility sanitation and maintenance.

Base hourly rate of $21.81 plus a $2.00 shift differential for third shift work
