About the Role

This position leads the strategic development and management of the Salesforce platform, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that support business objectives and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce platform solutions
  • Guide technical direction for Salesforce development initiatives
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to define requirements
  • Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance
  • Oversee integration between Salesforce and external systems
  • Mentor and support Salesforce developers and engineers
  • Establish best practices for code quality and deployment
  • Manage release cycles and deployment pipelines
  • Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce technologies
  • Drive adoption of DevOps practices within the Salesforce team
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies
  • Support user acceptance testing and validation
  • Lead discovery sessions for new Salesforce features
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants
  • Monitor platform usage and identify optimization opportunities
  • Implement automation workflows to improve efficiency
  • Enforce security standards across Salesforce environments
  • Facilitate cross-team knowledge sharing sessions
  • Align Salesforce roadmap with enterprise IT strategy
  • Manage sandbox and environment strategies
  • Promote reusability and modular design patterns
  • Support change management processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in platform operations

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline
  • 10+ years of Salesforce platform experience
  • Leadership in multi-team or enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce MuleSoft integrations
  • Prior success in leading digital transformation projects
  • Experience managing offshore development resources
  • Certified Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Background in financial services or regulated industries
  • Public speaking or conference presentation experience
  • Contributions to Salesforce communities or open source
