Responsibilities
- Deliver core administrative assistance to the group sales team by handling inquiries, reserving group accommodations, creating proposals, and overseeing contract documentation.
- Handle small group booking requests from initial inquiry through to finalized contracts.
- Monitor and update the status of group sales leads, potential opportunities, and client account interactions.
- Keep precise and up-to-date records of group reservations, signed contracts, and all related communications.
- Provide high-quality customer service to group clients by understanding their requirements and ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Help sustain current client relationships while supporting efforts to acquire new business.
- Work with internal teams such as Reservations, Revenue Management, and Operations to coordinate seamless group event execution.
- Support the creation and implementation of strategies to grow group sales.
- Perform market and client research to uncover new business opportunities and track industry developments.
- Help prepare sales reports, presentations, and supporting materials for the sales department.
- Partner with the Director of Group Sales and National Accounts Managers to meet team performance goals.
- Attend regular team meetings and training to stay informed on sales tools, processes, and initiatives.
- Propose practical enhancements to operational workflows, internal processes, and client engagement methods.
