Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for soliciting and generating business by selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other hotel services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections.
What You'll Do
- Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups.
- Manage accounts and conduct site inspections to solicit and generate business.
- Prepare and present effective proposals.
- Maintain well-organized documentation and reports.
- Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate.
- Participate in and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings.
- Work as a team member with the sales and catering staff in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.
What We're Looking For
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
Nice to Have
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience.
- Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training.
- Selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training.
Team & Environment
Works as a team member with the sales and catering staff.

- Compensation: $60,100 to $72,000
