Tradin Organic Agriculture B.V. is hiring a Sales Executive to drive sales and profitability in alignment with our strategic plan. In this remote US role, you will handle the procurement and sales of products to a defined customer base, working in close collaboration with our commercial and financial departments.
What You'll Do
- Suggest new trade opportunities and product development.
- Keep track of international market developments.
- Monitor results and suggest corrective action plans.
- Assess customer payment risks.
- Ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Handle product complaints from customers.
- Define all quality aspects towards product providers and customers.
- Follow product specifications as defined by the quality department and adhere to instructions specified by the QA Manager.
- Ensure all suppliers meet supplier approval with the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Ensure effective safety procedures, tools, and record-keeping are managed through site leadership.
- Adhere to company GMP’s (good manufacturing practices), safety procedures, and all other quality processes.
- Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, international trade, or a comparable function.
- Strong working knowledge of the import/export environment.
- Successful customer service experience.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Proven communication skills – verbal and written.
- Successful experience finding prospects, turning prospects into leads, and leads into customers.
- Demonstrated experience building rapport with customers and curating durable relationships.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Thrives working in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to solve challenging problems.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal direction.
Nice to Have
- BA in Business Management, Marketing, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field.
