What You'll Do
Support sales efforts by delivering technical expertise before and after customer contracts are secured. You'll plan communication systems, conduct live product demonstrations, and provide on-site training to public safety, law enforcement, and defense personnel.
Diagnose and resolve field issues with advanced radio and networking equipment, collecting detailed data to help engineering teams reproduce and fix problems. Your insights will help shape future product improvements.
Work directly with customers during site visits, ensuring systems are optimized and functioning as intended. You’ll also assist in allocating resources and maintaining hardware to support ongoing sales initiatives.
This role requires regular travel for client meetings, evaluations, and technical support events.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field with at least two years of experience in technical sales support, or a High School Diploma with six years in a similar role, is required. You must be proficient in using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, and you must hold or be able to obtain an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance within 15 months of hire. Candidates must reside in the Washington Metropolitan area.
Successful candidates will pass a background check and drug screening. Willingness to travel and work at customer locations is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Linux environments
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking principles
- Familiarity with IP radios and modems
- Knowledge of wireless communication, RF propagation, and digital transmission technologies
- Programming experience in C or C++
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
