SWTCH was looking for a Sales Development Representative (US - Remote)

About the Role

SWTCH is seeking a Sales Development Representative to scale and grow our business in the US market. In this remote role, you will identify, develop, and support direct sales and channel partnerships while working closely with our Business Development team.

What You'll Do

  • Respond promptly to all inbound leads.
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects.
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets and pursue leads through to successful agreement.
  • Understand target markets, including industry dynamics, public policy, regional programs, and effective market strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products, our competition, and our market positioning.
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape.
  • Maintain all customer activity in the CRM platform.
  • Exceed defined performance metrics.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of a post-secondary degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, and customer management.
  • Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementing skills.
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 15-20%.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in relevant industries such as real estate development, transportation, or energy.
  • Understanding of and passion for clean energy and mobility sectors.
