Responsibilities
- Gain proficiency in company-specific sales procedures through formal training and direct observation
- Develop and apply effective prospecting and cold calling techniques to generate new business opportunities
- Observe experienced sales professionals in the field, including occasional travel to support learning
- Support senior sales staff with daily tasks such as identifying, acquiring, and managing client accounts
- Participate in both internal team discussions and external client-facing sales meetings
- Nurture and sustain ongoing relationships with current clients and active accounts
- Create and manage a personalized pipeline of potential clients aligned with future role placement
- Engage in continuous learning using industry-specific marketing and sales resources
- Carry out additional assigned tasks and contribute to special initiatives as needed
Responsibilities
- Understand and perform RRD's sales steps through training and observation
- Learn and successfully execute the arts of prospecting and cold calling to build new accounts
- Shadow sales representatives (some travel required)
- Assist senior sales representatives in everyday functions such as sourcing, securing and managing business, both new and existing
- Attend internal and external sales meetings
- Maintain relationships with existing accounts and customers
- Build a sales funnel specific for your post-training assignment
- Continued development opportunities through marketing and sales publications to increase your understanding of the sales industry
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
