About the Role
This role supports the sales team by assisting with client outreach, organizing promotional events, and managing follow-up tasks to help expand market presence in the region.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing local sales events and demonstrations
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Respond to customer inquiries with timely and accurate information
- Support sales representatives during school visits and meetings
- Coordinate logistics for field sales operations
- Track inventory of promotional materials and reorder as needed
- Follow up with leads generated from events and outreach efforts
- Assist in preparing sales presentations and materials
- Gather feedback from educators and customers on product effectiveness
- Help onboard new clients by guiding them through initial setup steps
- Monitor regional market trends and report findings to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies during all sales activities
- Maintain organized digital and physical sales documentation
- Collaborate with marketing to align outreach with campaign goals
- Represent the organization professionally at all public engagements
- Travel to schools and district offices within the assigned region
- Assist in scheduling appointments for sales team members
- Provide input on customer preferences and regional challenges
- Use CRM tools to log interactions and update client profiles
- Support data entry and reporting for sales performance tracking
- Assist in coordinating training sessions for new clients
- Help manage communication between internal teams and school partners
- Promote products at educator conferences and community events
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and curriculum
- Escalate complex client issues to appropriate team members
Compensation
Hourly rate commensurate with experience
Work Arrangement
Per diem, on-site with regional travel
Team
Part of the regional sales team reporting to a field manager
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to transport sales and event materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting during school visits and events
