The Odom Corporation is looking for a Sales Admin Supervisor to lead our sales coordinator team. In this role, you will ensure seamless and accurate support for sales leadership, the department, suppliers, and customers. You will evaluate data from various tools to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, planning work, and performance appraisal.
- Analyze data and compile statistical information to help sales management achieve volume, financial, and distribution goals.
- Generate and prepare various sales reports using Margin Minder, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain internal sales databases and Excel spreadsheets for accuracy and current information.
- Evaluate processes and procedures to suggest improvements for operations, efficiency, and service.
- Manage supplier funding, including billback creation.
- Perform clerical duties to support sales managers and representatives with customer accounts.
- Update and monitor delegated tasks to ensure progress toward deadlines.
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
- Maintain and develop information on the company intranet site.
- Maintain a procedures manual for consistent performance of routines.
- Coordinate events including meetings, supplier meetings, and special events.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, combined with related customer service experience or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, with problem-solving ability and strong organizational skills.
- A high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Nice to Have
- Beverage distribution support experience.
- Knowledge of Margin Minder, SQL, and Microsoft SharePoint.
